The Basics of Bangkok

We're proud to partner with some of the most experienced and lively tour guides in the world! One of our favorite tours has always been the "Basics of Bangkok". Your tour gives you a great introduction to the city and is perfect for first time visitors or travelers!

You'll begin your experience in your hotel lobby or apartment where your docent will explain the layout of the city and the area where you are staying. You'll then receive tips on local customs, a basic language lesson, suggestions for dining, shopping, and insider events, safety and transport tips and open the floor to any specific questions.

You will then head outside for a stroll, allowing for a discussion of the area’s history and an opportunity to absorb the neighborhood ambiance under the guidance of your docent. You'll stop occasionally to talk about historic buildings and monuments or special shops or restaurants in the area. You’ll leave with maps and certainly a better sense of how best to navigate this vibrant city.
