Is this your first time to Spain? Check out a sample itinerary we put together for a client recently! And rememeber, everything is customized; we partner with many docents and guides to provide a unique experience for each of our clients. Day 1: Depart JFK (or your departure airport of your choice) and arrive into Madrid

Day 2: Check into the Eric Vokel Boutique Apartments (enjoy complimentary breakfast daily) and meet your tour guide at the Royal Palace for a tour at 1pm for approximately 3-4 hours, depending on your preference. The walk introduces children to Madrid's major historical moments and its major monuments and incorporates interactive activities to foster learning in a fun and engaging way.

Day 3: Meet your private docent at the Prado Museum at 10am after enjoying breakfast at the Vokel. Your private tour will last approximately 3 hours and will explore the ins and out of this world famous museum.

Day 4: We have arranged for another private tour of Segovia; here your guide will show you treasures from Roman Aqueducts to Castillian Alcazar. Segovia is one of the best preserved historic cities in Castile. Its charming medieval streets and squares are dotted with Romanesque churches, Gothic private homes, and Renaissance palaces earning it a place on the UNESCO Heritage list in 1985. The tour is approximately 6 hours long and lunch is included.

Day 5: On your last day in Madrid, enjoy a morning walking tour that explores Toldeo, which has been home to Jews, Christians, and Muslims from the Mahgreb. Now a World Heritage site, the churches, synagogues, and mosques that still dot this beautifully preserved city are a testimony to the heterogenous history of Europe. After the walk, you will continue back to the hotel for check out. Later that day, you will travel to Seville and check into the Petit Palace Marques Santa Ana.

Day 6: Meet your tour guide at 11am for the Andalusian Metropolis Walk and enjoy lunch when it is complete. Later that evening, you will meet your guide again in Triana for a dinner “tour” of traditional tapas at supper.

Day 7: Meet your private tour guide for a full day tour of Cordoba which takes you back in time to the glorious kingdom of Al Andalus. Set gracefully on the edge of the legendary Guadalquivir river, Cordoba has got a lot to offer to the day traveller.

Day 8: Finish up your time in Granada with a walk tailored more for locals. Moorish influence is in the air, with the aroma of rich teas and spices drifting from local houses and markets. Along the storied streets of the Albaicín, taste famous pairings of tapas and drinks while a light breeze from the snowy Sierra Nevada mountains refreshes you. Granada’s famous Alhambra is the most impressive palace, fortress, and gardens in all of Spain. After your walk, you will proceed to check out of the Petit Palace Marques Santa Ana and travel to Barcelona where you will check into your room(s) at the Fuster Apartments.

Day 9: Meet your tour guide for a private day long tour of Barcelona; make sure to wear comfortable shoes for this one!

Day 10: Enjoy another full day tour in Gorona, exploring the Dali Museum, the Jewish Quarter & the Romanesque Cathedral; lunch is included.

Day 11: On your last full day in Spain, enjoy the Barcelona hop on/hop off tour with stops including Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia (which is now on schedule to be completed after years of a stand still), the Science Museum, the Olympic Stadium, and the Picasso museum.

Day 12: Check out of your accomodations at the Fuster Apartments and depart back to America!
